About Me

I'm a professional photographer based in Phoenix who specializes in commercial, outdoor/adventure and portrait photography. You could also say I specialize in shooting people on location. I left a successful career of finance in New York to pursue my true passion of photography, which I had been developing for years. Leaving New York City, I headed to the southwest and then up into the mountains of Montana to take my craft to a new level via the Career Training Program at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. The integration of my business experience and my skills as a photographer has helped me relate and understand the demands and needs of my clients.

Always amazed at the power of a good photo and the emotion and influence it can evoke and have on others, I am driven to capture and create images that make an impact. It's a road of continual learning and discovery and a way to present the world from my perspective. Photography has become an extension of myself and a medium to share moments and stories with the hope of influencing others and getting them to pause, whether to laugh or think, and take a deeper look beneath the surface.

I have had the good fortune to explore much of the U.S. and have a particular fondness for our national parks and American history. I love to discover new places. More than that, I enjoy meeting the people that make those places special and learning the stories that go with them. It's my hope that those who see my images will smile, think and grow when they share in the experience of those captured moments.
